The objective of USSR was to provide help to Afghan government and they did really well for 10 years! Won every attack by rebels and lost only 5K for 10 years. After the Russians simply left. A great example of someone kicking someone's ass out of country is Vietnam. The objective is USA was to overthrow the government and change political system, but US was kicked really badly and they ran away. Objective was incomplete; the war was lost!

If you go learn some history the mujahadeen kicked the Russians out of Afghanistan because the U.S. gov't helped them with money and weapons, and no they didn't kick us out of Afghanistan. Look who's wanting to make peace after all these years of fighting. Yup the Taliban......

i think usa find it very hard to manage afghanistan threat since usa soldiers are too soft. If it is israeli soldiers, they dont even give a damn, look at the past how they arrest arafat, they even kill innocent lives. But now israel under their new ruler is more soft so their casualties are higher.

I thought the most effective soldiers in the world are the israelis, they obey no rules in war. In war there should be no rules. If it is israelis in charge of afghnistan, u will see how many taliban heads roll everyday. Innocent lives included.

You are wrong, one million people is way over the size of a Corps. And no the Marines are not the best. But they are good, very good. Just in my own personal experience and because I'm in the Army, I'd say we're the best. But the Marines are very well trained fighters, my best friend is a Marine.

There not the best. I think it's a little harder to fight an enemy that hides behind civillians. And they didn't kick the US, Canadian, or any other forces out of Afghanistan.

lol, no us marines and army have the MOST, the best are either the us special forces or the british sas. thinking about it, i guess over 1000000 people in the marines alone, so eya, they porably are the best ^^
